The problem with this one appears to be that the files did not complete qc. This one was loaded when we were loading data that was 1 day per file. I think this data is part of the problem with the qc that it freezes up if you load to many files. Anyway, they all have a daily qc value of '0'. We are just going to delete and reload these months through qc, then repurged and run through analysis. I suspected this, but was concerned because half of the year was fine, but did not load.

The assumption underlying the analysis software is that every file that goes through the QC software is supposed to be loaded into the analysis software. So if it's in LTPPFILETRACKER the analysis software will try and and load that data. If it's not there nothing will load. We have deliberately set it up as an all or nothing proposition so that if files do get mistakenly erased that can be remedied.

The issue comes when you consolidate files and removed candidates for data loading from the drive but not from LTPPFILETRACKER. If you do a file consolidation, you can take one of two approaches,1) selectively remove the records from LTPPFILETRACKER and selectively remove the files from the AVC4 or WIM7 subdirectory OR 2) remove everything for that site, year and data type from LTPPFILETRACKER and the AVC4 or WIM7 subdirectory in its entirety and then reload that data type for the site and year through the QC software as if it had never been loaded. In either case, don't worry about cleaning up any other of the QC ORACLE output tables.

No SPR required. The software behaved correctly.

Barbara,
I have a section (481113) that no class data will not load for for the year
2000. The error message is....................

12/09/2003 LOG REPORT

STATE: Texas SHRP ID: 1113

 User Name: WRIGHT
Date Processed: 12/09/2003 02:59 Start Date: 01/01/2000 End Date:

 Selection Criteria:
		CLASS (C) CARD | CLASS (4) CARD
 Comments:
Files not found on drive. C481113_H1A

 Selection Criteria:
		48 1113 2000. COUNT
 Comments:
Number of Files not Found on the drive = 6

I understand that this means that the qc files are not on the traffic
machine, leading me to believe they did not complete qc, for some reason. I
checked and sure enough, they were absent. My concern is, shouldn't the rest
of the files that are there have loaded? Because of this, no data loaded for
this year. There were many data files available. Should this be an SPR?
